When it comes to the exterior of the Hongqi HS6 PHEV, its signature front fascia—known as the “modern dragon head”—is impossible to ignore. This marks a bold evolution of Hongqi’s family design language. To suit its new-energy identity, a closed grille is adopted, while designers retained 12 meticulously crafted vertical chrome elements. Inspired by the columns of the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests at Beijing’s Temple of Heaven, these elements echo the philosophy of the “twelve earthly branches,” imbuing cold metal with cultural meaning.
Elongated Silhouette: Harmony of Space and Elegance
The side profile is equally impressive. A smooth character line flows from the front fender to the rear, shaping a dynamic and slender silhouette. With a body length of 4,925 mm and a wheelbase of 2,925 mm, the vehicle clearly establishes its mid-to-full-size SUV status while delivering generous interior space. Short front and rear overhangs further enhance proportions and maximize cabin efficiency.
Front-to-Rear Harmony: Composed Power with Dynamic Accents
The rear design echoes the front with clean lines and restrained dynamism. The main highlight is the bow-shaped full-width taillight, inspired by a drawn bowstring. Inside, bright LEDs create a dynamic flowing effect that activates progressively when the vehicle is unlocked, ensuring high nighttime recognition.

Inside, the Hongqi HS6 PHEV immediately immerses occupants in a blend of technology and comfort. All versions feature dual ultra-thin 15.6-inch displays forming a “digital cockpit.” Powered by the Snapdragon 8295 chip, the system delivers instant response and smooth animations. Apple CarPlay and Huawei HiCar ensure seamless smartphone integration.
Intelligent Protection: Safety for Every Scenario
The Sina Driving Assist system is one of the model’s key strengths. Using five millimeter-wave radars and eight HD cameras, it creates comprehensive environmental awareness. Functions include adaptive cruise control, lane centering, automatic parking, and reliable performance in complex conditions, significantly reducing driver fatigue.

The Hongqi HS6 PHEV is equipped with a 1.5-liter turbocharged hybrid system, available in front- and all-wheel-drive versions. The engine delivers 110 kW, while the dual-motor AWD version achieves a combined output of 369 kW (502 hp). Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes just 4.8 seconds.
